A conversation among Activision Blizzard’s Black employees and Employee Network leaders
Despite more than a year filled with unprecedented challenges and uncertainty, employees across Activision Blizzard came together in ways big and small to continue to deliver a sense of community, entertainment, and camaraderie for our players, and for one another.
In particular, our Employee Networks - including the Black Employee Network, for which I have the honor of serving as Executive Champion - played a critical role in providing resources and meaningful support systems for employees worldwide in a year filled with significant obstacles on many fronts. Our Employee Networks continue to expand our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, while providing employees with safe spaces, educational content, and allyship. These efforts were in many ways a light in the storm during a tumultuous year for all of us.
Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing some of our Black employees and Network leaders about their work here at Activision Blizzard, and to hear their thoughts on the gaming industry's future. The conversation shines a light not only on some of the incredible talent we have here at the company, but also the ways in which we can continue to amplify diverse voices, skill sets, and perspectives within an ever-evolving industry.
