Chris Walther has served as our Chief Legal Officer since November 2009 and served as our Secretary from February 2010 until February 2011. Prior to joining Activision Blizzard, Chris held a number of positions of increasing responsibility within the legal department of The Procter & Gamble Company, including serving as the General Counsel for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, General Counsel for Northeast Asia, and, most recently, as General Counsel for Western Europe. Chris also led Procter & Gamble’s Corporate and Securities and M&A practices. Before joining Procter & Gamble, Chris served as a law clerk for Senior Judge Harry W. Wellford of the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.


Chris is on the board of directors of the Alliance for Children’s Rights and has been Activision Blizzard’s representative on the board of directors of the Entertainment Software Association since 2013. 


Chris holds a BA degree in history and Spanish from Centre College and a JD degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
