Enhanced Benefits for Our Temporary Employees & Agency Workers

by Julie Hodges - Chief People Officer on Nov 09, 2021

I’m pleased to let you know about some key benefit enhancements we will begin offering our temporary employees in the U.S. In tandem, the agencies that employ people who work with us (e.g., VOLT, Tapfin) will match these increases and benefits. Therefore, U.S. third party agency workers who are on assignment with Activision Blizzard also will receive these new increases and benefits. Here is an overview of the changes we will be making:

  • Paid holidays: Temporary employees and third party agency workers will now receive up to 13 paid holidays each year, beginning with this upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
  • Paid sick time: Beginning in 2022, our third party agency partners will offer 9 days of accruable paid sick time to their workers who do not receive it today.
  • Minimum pay rate: All temporary employees will receive a minimum hourly rate of $17, and we’ve asked our third party agency partners (e.g., VOLT, Tapfin) to do the same for their employees on assignment with Activision Blizzard. Increases will go into effect November 15, 2021 for those impacted.
  • Growth opportunities: Beginning in 2022, we will offer new opportunities for temporary employees to participate in learning and development programs.

While these benefits are directed at a small portion of our workforce and the workforces of our agency partners, they are crucial to making Activision Blizzard a more supportive and inclusive workplace.
